Temperament: Loving, Alert, Playful. Chinese Cresteds are affectionate lap dogs that thrive on human companionship. They enjoy being the center of attention and are gentle with children and other pets. Despite their delicate appearance, they’re agile and often surprisingly athletic.
Energy Level: Moderate. This breed enjoys short bursts of play and thrives with daily companionship and light exercise. They’re well-suited for apartment living and do not require large outdoor spaces.

Trainability: High. Intelligent and eager to please, the Chinese Crested responds well to gentle, positive reinforcement training. Their sensitivity makes harsh corrections counterproductive.
